Heather will be visiting Malta once a month for approx one week each time. She will be offering private lessons and occasional public workshops which will introduce singers to the Speech Level Singing Technique. This is the first time SLS has been brought publicly to Malta and offered to the Maltese singers.

Students have asked in the past whether they can really improve their voice seeing Heather once a month. The answer is yes! Heather insists that students record the lessons they have in order to keep up their training in between visits- this way the student can train daily on the specific exercises Heather has set for them. By the time they see Heather next time they will probably need a new set of exercises as their voice will have developed and need new challenges.

It is also important that students do not study with other tutors in-between lessons with Heather. Unfortunately there are a lot of teachers all over the world who claim to be voice teachers but know very little about how the voice works- these teachers can undo the good work done by SLS teachers like Heather and can cause damage to voices. One lesson a month with Heather is worth more than weekly lessons with any teacher of this kind.

Heather provides professional training for singers who have to cope with a heavy schedule of show, gigs or performances. She aids the preparation for festivals or competitions and can help to rehabilitate damaged voices. Her lessons are also useful for actors, public speakers and anyone who uses their voice regularly or wants to expand their skills to singing. Heather has already helped towards winning performances in the Junior Eurovision and several competitors for the adult Eurovision are currently taking advantage of Heather’s teachings in Malta.

Her visits are being organised by MVS and bookings must be made through them. Places are very limited so you must book early to guarantee you are able to get a lesson.
