Busking for Cancer Research

Members of the HBSS Adult Choir and Kids GLEE club took to the streets of Northwich on Saturday 26th March to entertain the public in aid of Cancer Research. They sang for over 2 hours and managed to draw quite a crowd who were all happy to donate to the cause. They all did a great job of both singing and chasing people for money! Big thanks to everyone who took part and to everyone who came down to support us. We raised a total of £336.57 for Cancer Research which is fantastic.

[caption id="attachment_23" align="alignright" width="150" caption="Sophie"][/caption] Maltese singer and student at HBSS Sophie got down to the final 24 in Malta's selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest 2011. She took part in a live TV show where the final act was selected to represent Malta at this year's Eurovision Song Contest. Sophie previously represented Malta in the junior Eurovision contest in 2006 where Heather went along to personally coach her for her performance. She didn't win the final this year- but watch out for future appearances!
